Popular Hookah Tobacco Flavor Reviews
The best flavor of tobacco is something that is very much up to personal taste. Some people prefer a simple, classic flavor — some would rather have something with a new and unusual twist. Some like their smoke sweet, some like a strong taste. However, regardless of personal tastes, there will always be popular flavors. Tried and true classic like rose, apple and vanilla are a common starting point for a new smoker. Popular newer additions to the range of flavored tobacco available include mint chocolate and even cola and bubblegum flavors. Fruit flavors tend to be the most popular — you can find guava, banana, orange, plum, cherry, and everything in between. Honey is another popular classic flavor for people with a sweet tooth.
Are Hookah Hoses Universal?
If you’re shopping around for a hookah or hookah parts, you may be wondering if any hose fits any hookah and vice versa. Because there are popular hookah brands made in various different countries, there is no real standard size of hose for all pipes. You are best to take a measurement of the openings in your hookah and compare this to the width of hoses when shopping for hookahs. Be aware also that the grommets you have fitted on your hookah can affect whether or not a certain pipe will fit. It’s best to try to buy accessories that are the same brand as your hookah whenever possible to make sure they’re compatible.
How To Light Hookah Coals
There’s a right way and a wrong way to light hookah charcoal. If you’re used to smoking cigarettes, your first instinct might be to try to light the coals with a cigarette. You can do it this way, but it’s quicker to use a stronger heat source such as a stove. With certain types of natural charcoal, using a stove is the only way to light it — a lighter simply won’t generate enough heat. There are specially designed charcoal lighting stoves available, although you can use a kitchen top gas stove if you have one available. Whether you are using a lighter or a stove, never try to light the coal with it directly touching your skin. Use a set or metal tongs or tweezers to hold it over the flame. There should be a piece of perforated foil between the coals and the tobacco itself. If the coals are quick-light, you can light them when you need them, but if they are natural coals you need to heat them up a few minutes in advance.
How Many Coals To Use and How To Arrange Them
How many coals do you need to light a hookah, and how should you arrange them? The short answer is, as many as you need. There’s no right or wrong number of coals or proper placement — it depends on the smoking experience you are trying to create. Generally, adding more coals will raise the temperature of the smoke and help the tobacco to burn faster. When you first start smoking the hookah, it’s generally a good idea to keep the coals away from the centre of the bowl. If you find that the smoke is becoming too harsh and hot, use your tongs to turn or remove one of the coals.
